COOPER CITY CIVIC GROUP APRIL 15 MEETING

The Cooper City Civic Group will meet Thursday, April 15 at 7 PM at the Community Center on 90th Avenue.  EVERYONE  is invited to attend.

Tuesday, November 2, 2010 is election day for two City Commission seats, District One, Commissioner John Sims, and Two, Commissioner Lisa Mallozzi.  There are folks whom we do NOT know running for these two seats as well.

We, the residents, MUST be informed about the qualifications of all the residents running for these two seats.  We MUST meet them, question them, hear their qualifications and learn the direction they want to take the City and why and how they plan to do it.

This MUST be accomplished through several of our Civic Group Meetings NOT  at one Candidates Night Forum held two weeks prior to the election.  WE PLAN TO HOLD DISCUSSIONS OF WHO,  WHAT AND WHY!   WE WANT TO SEE AND HEAR FROM THE FOLKS RUNNING FOR THESE TWO SEATS on more than one  occasion  since they will hold the destiny of Cooper City in their hands once elected.

Please attend these very important meetings since we only have April, May, September and October's meetings in which to learn and digest all this information about the candidates.  BE AN ACTIVE, KNOWLEDGEABLE  VOTING RESIDENT.  Know your candidates--inside and out!  This is your opportunity to ask the questions which you have for them!  They will each be invited to speak at a meeting leading up to Candidates Night which will be October 21st.

See you Thursday, April 15 at 7 PM
