Cooper City Commission votes for increase in water and sewer rates

HAVE YOU HAD ENOUGH.....YET?

On Tuesday, October 12, the Cooper City Commission voted 4 to 1 in favor of the water and sewer 2% rate increase!  Please, God have mercy on those residents who are having such a financially
difficult time!  The Tax and Spend City Commission does not!

Question:  Who was the one Commissioner who had the guts to vote against the increase?  COMMISSIONER JOHN SIMS VOTED NO! 

He knows, as do the other commissioners,  that the Utility Department has over $11,000,000(Million) in their Piggy Bank!
He knows also, as do the others, that the Utility Dept. made over $1,000,000(million) by the end of last year!

Commissioner Lisa Mallozzi voted YES for the increase!   She, who advertises herself as a conservative!  She, who votes for new taxes, Tax increases and wants  the red light cameras for the  money!!!  All on the backs of us, The Residents!
