PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD: The issue of cameras at red lights in Cooper City will be on the agenda for the Commission Meeting on May 11, 2010. The meeting begins at 6:00 PM.
We must all attend this meeting to express our displeasure with this issue. This issue is so not Cooper City! We are Someplace Special.
The tickets will cost $158.00 BUT the county and State will get a share of that money as well as the company who installs the cameras. So, just how much will we receive from that ticket and will it be worth the aggravation? Also rear ending accidents will increase and so will our vehicle insurance!
The Blogger feels this issue is just another way to grab money from residents and neighbors who do NOT have it. Add the recent lay-offs from The BSO Department to those already out of work in Cooper City--the economic situation is not good and NOT getting any better.
If this is a FAMILY ORIENTED CITY then someone had better start thinking about those families and their problems and suffering.
It is up to the residents of this City to go to the Commission Meetings and express our concerns over this year's budget and the City's spending.
Commission Meetings: May 11 and 25 begin at 6 PM
