This Blogger told the residents that before the Nov. 2nd City Commission Election there would be plenty Dirty Politricks! Once again, it happened Thursday night at the City Meeting to determine the Millage Rate and Debt Levy, Agenda Item No. 6A.
Mayor Eisinger Exploded One More Time!
The City Meeting was moving along uneventfully until it came time for the Mayor to speak. She proceeded to read a list of alleged remarks by Commissioner John Sims. Comm. Sims politely but properly attempted to remind the Mayor her remarks were a personal attack against him NOT City Business. She yelled at him and he responded firmly but politely and stood his ground because he was correct in saying the list she was reading was not City Business and was an attack on, GUESS WHO? Commissioner John Sims!
Mayor Eisinger then exploded and threatened to have the BSO Commander Marvin Stoner remove Comm. Sims from the dais. Can you imagine her threatening to remove an elected Cooper City Commissioner from his seat on the dais for asking her to return to the official City Business? My! My! What power one thinks she has!!! The Blogs, You Tube and Facebook pages would have lit Broward County!
I stood up in front of my seat without making a sound. I simply wanted to remind the Mayor to get control of herself and return to the very important City Business from which she strayed to illegally attack Comm. John Sims. The Mayor is supporting a woman who is campaigning against Comm. Sims and the Mayor cannot legally do that from the dais!! Laws are laws! Where is a lawyer when you need one?
THEN she turned on me as I stood quietly! She asked me to take my seat twice. Twice I responded that if she returned to the City Business I would take my seat but not until.
THEN she turned to BSO Commander Marvin Stoner and asked him to REMOVE ME from the room. I was doing nothing out of order except standing to remind her to return to the Agenda's City Business. She was really on the road to a nuclear bomb explosion because she knew she was wrong(I guess) but was behaving in a petulant, immature manner because she was NOT getting her way! As a 79 year old Grandmother, I know how children behave when they want their way and cannot have it!!! I think it was called a TANTRUM in those days! Obviously, the Mayor NEVER outgrew her baby tantrum ways! She has had great practice as Cooper City's Mayor!
I sat in my chair but then Comm. Lisa Mallozzi started getting into the mix. She made remarks to Comm. Sims but then turned her attention to the lady sitting next to me. Yelling about a foreclosure which she had and something about an e mail. She then yelled that it was NOT one foreclosure but two! That she had paid them! Two foreclosures were more information than I expected. She is sitting up there representing the residents in how to spend our tax dollars and was not personally financially responsible??
With both the female Mayor and Mallozzi sitting up there in a tizzy I began wondering just what was going on because the men were very quiet! I feel certain they were fearful of getting into that mix!
This is a very sad commentary of another Cooper City Commission Meeting gone wild. I feel certain the former mayor, Suellen Fardelmann, was in tears over that night's fiasco. Mayor Fardelmann was far too professional to let any meeting she moderated fall into such disarray!
