This Blogger has an additional remark to make about the Senior Forum which took place this morning at Cooper City Hall.
The Moderator, Steven Person, asked the following question looking in the direction of our City Manager Bruce Loucks, Commissioners Curran and de Jesus: "How many Seniors live in Cooper City?"
This meeting has been on the books since June 24th and you would think some planning went into it! Well, Mr. Loucks said, "I would have to look in my office!" The Commissioners made no move to answer.
I responded: "There were 3,500 but I think the number was reduced to about 3,300 Seniors living in Cooper City."
So, for all the blather which took place, not a Commissioner, Parks and Recreation Assistant Director, Director, or Kethie Osborn, Recreation Supervisor or City Manager had taken the time to have that figure at the tip of their tongue!!
So, the reader can determine whether this Senior Forum meant anything to those City Administrators and elected Commissioners or not! I say, "NOT"
