Seriously, This Blogger believes in Angels and Good Neighbors!
My husband has suffered some health problems which mean he cannot take care of our landscaping in this heat. We watched the grass grow, and grow. My husband kept saying he would get it cut.
Well, The Good Neighbor called and said she noticed our grass was "a little high" and could she come over and cut it with her riding mower? I told her "Yes" without asking The Patient first.
The good neighbor arrived and brought The Angel with her! David is a landscaping person who volunteered to cut and weed whack the yard for us.
He did all he said he would absolutely beautifully. Then quietly loaded his equipment and left.
The Angel, David, arrived again on this past Thursday late afternoon, and along with his helper, mowed and weed whacked the yard. This Angel, again, refused to accept payment for his work.
So, you know why I believe in Good Neighbors and I believe in Angels. All of us in Cooper City have them. We just don't know when they will show up at our front doors and knock! I say we are so very lucky to have wonderful folks in our lives whether they are Friends, Good Neighbors or Angels named David!
