The February 18 Cooper City Civic Group Meeting was an interesting meeting and such a very cold night! The hot coffee hit the spot!
BSO Lt. Cindy Adamskiy, Lt. Ron Baranski and Sgt. Aimee Alexander visited to introduce Lt. Baranski to us.
With Commander Marvin Stoner now Acting Chief, Lt. Adamsky is Acting Commander and Lt. Baranski is assuming Lt. Adamsky's duties. We enjoyed their visit and look forward to our March 18 Meeting when they will be with us again.
Our Guest Speaker was Jeanette Wofford, Cooper City's Arborist. Ms. Wofford works out of the Public Works office.
She gave an interesting presentation regarding the city's trees and then answered questions from the attendees. Ms. Wofford produces the September TREE AND PLANT WORKSHOP every year and really does an outstanding job. We recommend you sign up and attend this year.
Everyone enjoyed having Ms Wofford as our Guest Speaker and we hope to have her return in the near future.
Thursday, March 18 is our next Meeting at 7 PM at the Community Center. Refreshments will be served and we invite everyone to attend. Our Guest Speaker will be announced later.
