This Blogger mentioned earlier that we would be talking more about DIRTY POLITICS in Cooper City's Nov. 2 Election, well this is the first article:
Commissioners Neal de Jesus and James Curran were NOT at tonight's Commission Meeting although extensive planning goes into setting the dates for the June, July and August Meetings because we only have one meeting each month. No one knows why they were both absent.
The meeting was going fairly well until Commissioner John Sims, for whatever reason, got up and left the dais. This is not an uncommon occurrence. The Mayor left the stage not too long ago without a word. Handed the gavel to Comm. Mallozzi and disappeared for the night.
The meeting, under Mallozzi's gavel, continued without a hitch to the very end. Not tonight! Mayor Eisinger offered that he must not have been in too much of a hurry "because his girlfriend just sauntered out and was not in a hurry"! His girlfriend? Nope, his wife!
However, the Mayor and Comm. Mallozzi turned the meeting into a gossipy cat meeting. They conjectured why Comm. Sims left the meeting when he did and decided he did not want to discuss the next item on the Agenda which concerned the City obtaining background checks on every candidate running for office in Cooper City. They questioned his honesty, character and why he did not want to discuss the next Agenda item. All conjecture!
Then, resident Diane Sori, joined in with her own opinions and added that the Blogs which are written or have been written about Cooper City Commissioners and Mayor are all produced by, well, we know who! Innuendo!.
We thought we were all attending a Cooper City Commission Meeting! A City Business Meeting! Instead, we were listening to two elected City officials: the Mayor and a Commissioner shredding the character, integrity, morals and honesty of Commissioner Sims BECAUSE he left a meeting a bit early.
They perpetrated, not only a violation of Commissioner Sims but, perhaps, a violation of the Sunshine Laws. Serious business!
.
Folks, it is this Blogger's opinion Mayor Eisinger and Commissioner Mallozzi stooped into the muck and mire of very dirty politics. And the election is not until Tuesday, November 2, 2010! I promise, this is only the beginning of the DIRTY COOPER CITY POLITICS STORY. You don't have to take this Blogger's word for it, view it on the Cooper City Web Site. Hear every vitriolic word uttered, hear the conjecture and innuendo of those words! You elected them and we are paying their salary to behave like this?
